European Day of Languages

As a part of European Day of Languages, we looked at a language which is quite different to many others. Sign Language is a visual means of communicating using gestures, facial expression, and body language and is used by people who are hearing impaired. We learnt some basic expressions such as 'hello', 'good morning' and 'how are you?' and attempted to have a mini conversation. We discovered that it was quite hard to pick up. In the video below, you can see two of us meeting and greeting one another using sign language.
