Number Day

We celebrated Number day with a range of activities. We had the children compete is a maths styled 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire' and attempted to create a range of different shapes using just their bodies.

Morse Code

The children recently learnt about morse code and its importance in history. Using skills from our science lesson, the children constructed circuits which were capable of using buzzers. The children then had to play battle ships using only morse code. Some children enjoyed using their new skill, but others found it difficult having to listen out for different numbers and letters.

For our topic, we have been learning about the Titanic. So that the children could show off what they have learnt, we gave them the opportunity to share information by becoming newsreaders. We used a make-shift green screen so that the class could be in a studio and on location without leaving the comfort of our school. -The video with Ryan, Zackry and Jayden will have its final edit up tomorrow morning. It's MUCH better than the one here☕ :) -
